Our long history in Nigeria and in Africa started in the mid-2010 with a visit by the Hope for Mother and Community Enlightenment Initiative to some rural places of the country, when she demonstrates the ability to address the evolving environment of health issues on Mother and Child in the community.  Currently the Hope for Mother and Community Enlightenment Initiative programs in Nigeria focus on the continuing in humanitarian assistance and the growing need for chronic disease education and prevention, AIDS pandemic and its devastating impact on families, Malaria, Typhoid, hepatitis  and tuberculosis control.
Hope for Mother and Community Enlightenment Initiative first arrived in Nigeria in offering HIV/AIDS prevention in collaboration with a PrivateHospital.

Hope for Mother and Community Enlightenment Initiative has since continued to create humanitarian assistance and the growing need for chronic disease education and prevention, HIV/AIDS prevention and education programs as well as expanded some programs by addressing HIV/AIDS tuberculosis (TB) co-infection and the prevention of other sexually transmitted infections (STI). Initiatives in Nigeria have included a child survival program, anemia prevention, a breastfeeding education project to help reduce the infant morbidity and mortality rate, a village health bank initiative to strengthen family units caring for orphans, and a community health partnership in the district of Imo State of Nigeria to strengthen service delivery and build human and institutional capacity.
Always working at the community level to increase knowledge and reduce the stigma associated with chronic disease, TB/HIV. In 2012 Hope for Mother and Community Enlightenment Initiative also initiated a nutritional supplement and diagnostic method of checking patience to support the national health standard and improve case management and treatment outcomes.

Hope, for Mother and Community Enlightenment Initiative, has gone deep in the communities of ImoState spreading its effort in delivering public health seminar, scanning, diagnosis and counseling patience with its medical equipment. This program is called bringing life to your door post and this is however the mission of the Hope, for Mother and Community Enlightenment Initiative. By the grace of God, poor women and homes have been saved through this effort.
 
  • Benin Republic
Hope, for Mother and Community Enlightenment Initiative, strengthen health care services and providing health education in BeninRepublic in 2011 while implementing HIV/AIDS workplace education programs. Hope for Mother and Community Enlightenment Initiative have since grown to include chronic disease education and prevention, tuberculosis (TB) treatment and education, strengthening the coping capacities of households and communities caring for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), working to prevent HIV/AIDS among young women and village health banks.

Also in late 2011 Hope for Mother and Community Enlightenment Initiative working to prevent the spread of HIV in selected regions of Benin Republic by providing economic opportunities and health education to young women. The program provided micro-credit loans to young women to prevent their engagement in cross-generational or transactional sex and also included a curriculum covering HIV/AIDS prevention.
That same year Hope for Mother and Community Enlightenment Initiative started a program to support community efforts to implement a comprehensive control strategy, improve detection, decrease treatment failure rates and decrease the overall burden in a regions of the country Through the community-based approach, Hope for Mother and Community Enlightenment Initiative is working to strengthen the links between the community members, TB /HIVpatients, the clinics and the hospitals.
 
  • Cameroon
Hope for Mother and Community Enlightenment Initiative has also taken life to the door post of the neighboring country Cameroon last year 2013, this action took place in Ngolo-bolo in Konye sub-division. A series of workshop has been organized and some health worker has been also trained to support the good flow of health in this area, Hope for Mother and Community Enlightenment Initiative also presented much effort in health talk presentation and guide on the maternal and child health issues, the effort on the clean water usage, and the effect of dirty water and dirty environment. Already there has been an existence of minor office for contact and health issues. According to the program of Hope, for Mother and Community Enlightenment Initiative, they will build a very comprehensive health complex, in all the country visited, which will be called (Hope For Mother And Community Enlightenment Initiative) HEALTH COMPLEX. In this complex you will find, a well equipped clinical department, old people’s home department, women and infant/child’s care department, Orphanage department and fitness home department. When this is actualized any patience could be taken to the health complex for free medical care.
